Become a Bobcat Webinar: Writing Studies Mixer

The Writing Studies Online Mixer hosted by UC Merced brings together prospective students, current majors, alumni, and faculty for an interactive, student-centered conversation about identity and experiences in the Writing Studies program. Participants will introduce themselves, make connections, and share their experiences in Writing Studies courses and across campus. Alumni will reflect on how they transitioned from UC Merced into graduate study and diverse professional paths, offering insight into challenges they faced and how they grew along the way. The event creates space for all students to ask questions, build networks, and imagine their own academic and professional futures. Above all, the mixer highlights the program’s commitment to identity, mentorship, and supporting everyone’s intellectual, creative, professional, and personal development.
