Visiting UC Merced is the best way to gain firsthand knowledge of our academic programs, housing and student life. We host several on-campus and off-campus events throughout the year for admitted students. We invite you to join us for the chance to find out what makes our campus so special.
Regional Admission Receptions
Admitted first year students can learn about the remarkable opportunities that await them at the newest UC campus during special events in Santa Clara, Sacramento, Los Angeles and Riverside.
This special day just for admitted students and transfer applicants is our biggest event of the spring! Come see UC Merced at its liveliest and take a tour of campus, meet with faculty, attend presentations from each of our academic schools, talk to Financial Aid and Admissions staff, discover student clubs and organizations, and much more.
Spring Visit Week
Over the course of five days, you’ll have an opportunity to tour the UC Merced campus, attend presentations and get answers to any questions you have about the University.
Spotlight UC Merced
This half-day introduction to UC Merced is the last event of the spring for first year students. It serves as a valuable chance to ask any final questions you might have as you weigh your options. You can find out about housing, student life, financial aid, academic opportunities and more.
Campus Applicant Review Event (CARE)
During CARE events for transfer applicants, students who have submitted a transfer application to UC Merced will have the opportunity to meet with an Admissions advisor to discuss the status of their application and learn about the next steps in the admission process.
Transfer students can meet with Admissions advisors one-on-one and discuss the status of their application, attend a transfer presentation and take a campus tour.
Admitted Student Webinars
During our live presentations and discussions, you can learn about resources and opportunities available to UC Merced students, our academic programs, student life and more.
