Become a Bobcat Webinar: Life and Environmental Sciences

This webinar will introduce students to the Environmental Systems Science (ESS) and Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology (EECB) majors. We will introduce the two majors, briefly discussing each major and potential careers, then introduce current undergraduate students in each major. Students will talk about their experiences in the major, in particular focusing on opportunities to gain career experience through activities like the ¿field curious? immersion experience, field-to-lab, and classes and research with faculty members in the majors. There will be opportunities for participants to ask questions about, for example, admission to UC Merced and the majors, life at UC Merced and in the major, and potential career prospects following graduation.
